Your wedding day is an intimate and personal day full of love, laughter, real emotions and irreplaceable memories. Capturing stories with authentic and timeless images is incredibly important to me, and I feel honoured to share these moments with my clients.

As a Gold Coast wedding photographer, I believe that no two weddings are the same. Queensland is blessed with stunning natural backdrops and jaw dropping locations that set the scene for remarkable love stories. What’s more, I find it’s the unique, little details that make weddings even more memorable.

From the nervous excitement as the couple gets ready, to tears of joy at the ceremony, or cheeky dance moves at the reception, weddings are full of priceless moments. These raw emotions and candid expressions are what allow me to tell a story through my photography, and every moment of a wedding is absolutely magical.

I'll spend some time getting to know you before the Big Day, so that I know how to capture your celebration of love in a way that's special to you. When it comes to your wedding portraits, I'm here to make sure you're as relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera as possible.

If you’re looking for a Gold Coast wedding photographer who’s approachable, communicative and passionate, you’ve come to the right place. I'll blend with your guests and get to know your family and friends. We'll have a chat and a laugh, all whilst capturing the real moments as they happen — you may even forget I’m there!

At the end of our time together, you'll have a collection of beautiful and intimate images that you can treasure and share with your family and friends for generations.

FAQ'S

How do we choose a wedding photographer that’s right for us?

Choose a photographer who is willing to meet with you in advance and grow a connection with you. Building real rapport with your wedding photographer is going to put you at ease on the Big Day, and you’ll be comfortable knowing that you (and your precious memories) are in good hands.

I like to meet up with you over coffee in advance, so we can have a chat about how I can best tell your story. Feel free to take a look through my portfolio and I’d be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Which areas do you cover?

As a Gold Coast wedding photographer, I can travel anywhere between Byron Bay and the Sunshine Coast. In most cases, I don’t charge a travel fee.

I often take my wedding clients to the local beaches for their Engagement Sessions. It’s a great way to start building a connection with my clients and really get to know their story before the big day.

How many shooters do you bring?

I shoot alone for elopements and small weddings, but for bigger weddings, I bring along a second shooter. Having a second wedding photographer on hand means that you’ll get the most out of your Big Day.

Can we request a specific shot list?

Yes! Once all your wedding details have been finalised, I send you a questionnaire to fill out. From there, I create a detailed schedule to ensure we get all the key shots we need, including all your important family portraits.

As a Gold Coast wedding photographer, I’m familiar with this beautiful part of the world and will help create a schedule in advance that ensures we make the most out of your venue’s potential.

Should we prepare anything for you before you arrive on the day?

To make the most of our time, it’s best to set aside anything that requires detailed shots (the dress, the rings, the something blue, and anything extra that’s sentimental and should be captured on your special day.)

In my experience as a Gold Coast wedding photographer, I’d also recommend having an ‘emergency kit’ with clean tissues, lip balm, a comb, band aids and anything else that you may need to ‘touch-up’ throughout the day. Usually the maid of honour will handle this – you don’t want to be carrying it around all day!

What if we’re nervous about being in front of the camera?

Don’t worry, I hear this all the time! I try my best to make each session fun, so that you and your loved ones can feel super relaxed and comfortable on camera. Having an Engagement Session before your wedding day also helps to ease those camera jitters.

Do you have any tips to get the most out of our wedding photo session?

You might want to consider bringing a second pair of shoes that are more comfortable, especially if you’re wearing heels to your wedding. I’ve often found that when it comes to Gold Coast wedding photography, my clients want to get photos featuring the local scenery, which usually means walking around on grass, rocks, or sand for an extended period of time. A change of shoes that can go ‘off road’ really does help!

What if it rains on our wedding day?

I understand that Southeast Queensland weather can sometimes be unpredictable! I always pack a set of clear umbrellas just in case.

In fact, I find rainy wedding days can be a unique experience with lots of opportunities to have fun and get creative with the kinds of shots we can take.

How soon will we receive our photos?

The Gold Coast wedding photography industry gets super busy at certain times of the year! That said, I take great pride in editing my photos so that the results are spectacular.

During peak wedding season, your photos will take 4 to 6 weeks to be finalised. Outside of this time, I usually complete photos within 4 weeks.

Can we order prints directly from you?

I use an amazing software called Pic Time to share your images and from their you can order and send your prints directly to your doorstep. I'm always happy to walk clients through this.

Who owns rights to the images?

Your photographer owns commercial rights to the images. However, you are free to post your photos online for personal use.

Can we request that our photos are not shared on your website / social media?

Yes, of course. Just let me know in advance.
